The Mets scored twice in the bottom of the eighth inning Friday night to tie the Braves at five just in time for the rain, which forced a suspension of the game. They will resume in the ninth tomorrow at 6:10 p.m. Daniel Murphy had three hits with two runs scored and John Buck blasted a solo shot. More »

Gardner homers in Yanks' win over Rays
Brett Gardner, Lyle Overbay and Jayson Nix each drove in two runs in the Yankees' 9-4 victory over the Rays on Friday night. David Phelps allowed four runs and six hits in 7 2/3 innings, but left after getting his by a comebacker. Curtis Granderson was also forced from the game by injury. More »

Granderson, Phelps exit game with injuries
In just his eighth game back with the team, Curtis Granderson was pulled from the Yankees' 9-4 win over the Rays tonight after getting hit in the hand. X-rays revealed a fracture of the knuckle on his left pinky. David Phelps also exited the game after getting hit by a line drive. More »

Brad Richards didn't dress for the Rangers' Game 4 victory over the Boston Bruins on Thursday. After the win, a passionate John Tortorella talked about the decision to bench Richards, who won a Stanley Cup with Tortorella in Tampa Bay. "It's not blaming Brad Richards," the head coach said. Watch »
