'Kids Clubhouse' casting call

SNY will hold an open casting call on January 12 to find the next host of the award-winning 'Kids Clubhouse.' (SNY)

NEW YORK -- SNY, the television home of the Mets, announced Friday that it will hold an open casting call on Saturday, January 12th from 10am-1pm to find the new host of the network's Emmy Award-winning children's show Kids Clubhouse presented by f.y.e. The auditions will take place at SNY's street-level studio on 6th Avenue and 51st Street in front of three judges, including SNY's Senior Vice President of Production and Executive Producer Curt Gowdy, Jr.

Eligible candidates must be between the ages of 14-18, and be accompanied by an adult. The new host will be announced at a later date, and become the star of Kids Clubhouse presented by f.y.e., which features baseball tips, player profiles, as well as fitness and nutritional advice. Kids Clubhouse presented by f.y.e. was previously hosted by Amanda Cole -- the daughter of Kenneth Cole -- and an actress in the 2007 movie Across the Universe.

• Open to kids between the ages of 14-18 (must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)

WHEN: Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 10am-1pm (first come, first serve)

WHERE: SNY's Street-Level Studio (51st Street & 6th Avenue)
