"This is our fourth year in the wonderful SNY Invitational. SNY has always done a fabulous job fielding highly competitive teams, so for us to be invited again speaks volumes about our program," said Boys and Girls High School Coach Ruth Lovelace. "This prestigious invitational continues to epitomize what's good about SNY; it provides a great product for the community to immerse itself in two days of terrific high school basketball. We are truly fortunate for the selection committee to have chosen us, I think it's safe to say, it doesn't hurt to be NY State Champions."

"Cardinal Hayes is thrilled to be in SNY's tournament, which includes three other powerhouse programs. With teams like St. Anthony's, Long Island Lutheran and Boys and Girls, match-ups don't matter. Each game will be a challenge and we look forward to competing against these legendary programs," said Coach Joe Lods of Cardinal Hayes.

"The Long Island Lutheran Boys Basketball Program is ecstatic to be a part of the 2013 SNY Invitational. This event offers a unique stage for our team to perform against some of the best competition in the metro area," said Coach John Buck of LI Lutheran. "Without a doubt, this is one of the premiere high school basketball tournaments in the country!"
