SNY Starts Opening Day with Live Coverage from Outside The Jackie Robinson Rotunda at Citi Field

SNY, the official television home of the New York Mets, New York Jets and all things New York sports, returns for another full season of award winning Mets coverage Opening Day, Monday, March 31, as the team prepares to take on the Washington Nationals at Citi Field. To celebrate the new season, SNY will feature all-access, in-depth coverage beginning at 11:30am LIVE from outside the Jackie Robinson Rotunda at Citi Field with Mets First Pitch presented by Cadillac, followed by an hour-long edition of Pepsi Pre-Game Live leading into the team's regular season debut at 1pm.

Mets First Pitch starts things off with featured clips from Terry Collins' pre-game press conference, as well as player profiles and exclusive segments with SNY's critically acclaimed broadcast team of Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling and Gary Cohen. At noon, host Gary Apple will anchor Pepsi Pre-Game Live along with analysts Bob Ojeda and Bobby Valentine. The trio will preview the day's game and discuss the upcoming season, while Kevin Burkhardt will be featured extensively with exclusive player and coach interviews. Other special guests, including former Mets all-stars Doc Gooden and Edgardo Alfonzo, reporters and sports and entertainment celebrities are also expected to participate.

Following the game, SNY will continue coverage from the stadium with its comprehensive W.B. Mason Post-Game Live before heading back to the studio for SNY's sports news and entertainment programming block - Daily News Live at 5:00pm and Loud Mouths at 5:30pm - and will round out the day's coverage with GEICO SportsNite from 10:30pm-1:30am.
